Reconstructive plastic surgery involves the surgical principles to restore the form and function of the body<\/strong> after trauma<\/strong>, burn<\/strong> or tumor<\/strong> excision. Plastic surgeons have to choose the ideal surgical solution using the \u201creconstructive ladder<\/strong>\u201d.<\/p>\n

The field of hand surgery<\/strong> deals with both surgical and non-surgical treatment of conditions of the hand and upper extremity including injury, tumor and infection. In Greece it is performed by specialized plastic and orthopedic surgeons.<\/p>\n
