What is it?<\/h2>

This condition affects boys and is characterized by proximal position of the urethral meatus in the ventral surface of the penis or even on the scrotum. Common comorbidities are chordee<\/strong> (curvature of the penis), undescented testicles<\/strong> and inguinal hernias<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

The procedure<\/h3>

I use the Snodgras technique to create a new urethral meatus and correct the penile curvature. In cases of distal (scrotal) hypospadias, I prefer a two-staged approach as described by Bracka.<\/p><\/div><\/div><\/div>[\/vc_column_inner][\/vc_row_inner][vc_row_inner row_type=”row” type=”full_width” text_align=”left” css_animation=”” el_class=”paddingonlybottom”][vc_column_inner]
