The procedure
In cases of labial hypertrophy, I perform wedge excision with protection of their sensory nerves. Liposculpture can also be done to maximize the aesthetic result in the pubic area and labia majora. Vaginal tightening can be achieved either surgically (colporrhaphy) or conservatively with CO2 laser.
Anesthesia
Local anesthesia with or without sedation.
Recovery
Discharge from hospital the same day. Suture removal is not necessary, because absorbable ones are used. Sexual intercourse is permitted after 3 weeks.
