The procedure
The incision is placed at the areola circumference to be well hidden. I typically perform liposuction followed by excision of the excess breast tissue. Nipple-areola complex is also reduced if indicated.
Anesthesia
Local anesthesia with sedation.
Recovery
Discharge from hospital the same day. Sutures removal after 2 weeks. Avoidance of heavy exercise and application of pressure garment for 1 month.
